Your child’s first visit
We recommend that children have their first dental appointment before their first birthday, so that any dental problems can be detected and treated early on. To make your child’s first visit as stress free as possible, we recommend that children bring their favourite cuddly toy to play with during their appointment.
During the first visit a full oral assessment and diagnosis is carried out. If necessary, x-rays will be taken, depending on the results of the examination. At the end of each visit, we will teach your child proper oral hygiene techniques.
We give out certificates and balloons to all children to make them feel they have achieved something worthwhile and to hopefully encourage them to like us and come back again!!!
